Cicek Pasaji
Cicek Pasaji (literally Flower Passage in Turkish), originally called the Cité de Péra, is a famous historic passage on İstiklal Avenue in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, Turkey.
Opened in 1876, Cicek Pasaji is a covered arcade with rows of historic cafes, winehouses and restaurants.
The site of CicekPasaji was originally occupied by the Naum Theatre, which was severely damaged by the Fire of Pera in 1870. After the fire of 1870, the theatre was purchased by the local Greek banker HristakiZografosEfendi, and architect KleanthisZannos designed the current building, which was called Cité de Péra or Hristaki Pasajı in its early years. In 1908 the Ottoman Grand Vizier SaitPaşa purchased the building, and it became known as the SaitPasa Passage.
Following the Russian Revolution of 1917, many impoverished noble Russian women, including a Baroness, sold flowers here By the 1940s the building was mostly occupied by flower shops, hence the present Turkish name Cicek Pasaji.
After the restoration of the building in 1988, it was reopened as a galleria of pubs and restaurants.
The most recent restoration was made in December 2005.
When you travel to Turkey, you must visit Cicek Pasaji and breathe the history. Enjoy your meal and drinks and have a warm conversation with your friends.

Uskudar
Uskudar |
Uskudar is also the usual name for the historic center of the municipality. Uskudar was a city in Bithynia founded in the 7th century BC, in a valley leading down to the Bosphorus shore, by the inhabitants of the Greek colony of Khalkedon and was first known as Chrysopolis (city of gold), perhaps because it was a wealthy port, or because of the way it shone when viewed from Byzantium at sunset.
According to an ancient Greek geographer, the city received the name Chrysopolis because the Persian empire had a gold depository there or because it was associated with Agamemnon and Chryseis' son Chryses.
It’s a one of the best place to visit that you should not miss to visit during your turkey travel and Istanbul tours. You can see the Uskudar area from by boat if you take a bosphorus cruise in Istanbul and you can visit by land if you take a full day two continent tour at Istanbul.

Beyoglu
Beyoglu |
The Turkish name of Pera, Beyoglu, is linked to the Venetian ambassadorial title of Bailo, whose palazzo was the most grandiose structure in this quarter. The informal Turkish-language title, BeyOglu (literally Son of Governor/Emir) was originally used by the Ottoman Turks to describe LodovicoGritti, son of Andrea Gritti who was the Venetian Bailo in Istanbul during the reign of Sultan Bayezid II (Andrea Gritti was later elected Doge of Venice in 1523, during the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent.) BeyOglu thus meant "Son of the Bey (Doge) of Venice", referring to LodovicoGritti (alternatively known as AlviseGritti among the Venetians), who was born in Istanbul in 1480 and established close relations with the Sublime Porte, and whose mansion was located at the vicinity of the present-day Taksim Square. Located further south in Beyoglu and originally built in the early 16th century, the "Venetian Palace" was the seat of the Bailo. The original palace building was replaced by the existing one in 1781, which later became the "Italian Embassy" following Italy's unification in 1861, and the "Italian Consulate" in 1923, when Ankara became the capital of the Republic of Turkey.
Beyoglu is very famous with restaurants, old buildings, churches and historical bazaars and restaurants that you should definitely visit to Taksim & Beyoglu when you are travelling to turkey. Also, you can include in your istanbul itinerary with daily tours via travel agent in Istanbul.

Istanbul Toy Museum
The Istanbul Toy Museum is a small museum dedicated to toys. The museum is located in the Goztepe (Asian side of Istanbul) district of Istanbul, Turkey. The museum was founded by the Turkish poet and novelist, Mr. Sunay Akin, in 2005. The museum opened on April 23, which is a national holiday in Turkey, National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Currently, the museum has on display 4,000 toys and miniatures, from Turkey and abroad; many of the exhibits are antiques, some of which date back nearly 200 years. The first floor of the museum is actually the site of the Eyup Toy Shop, a famous toy shop that had closed down in the 1950s. Akin has indicated that the word "museum" originates etymologically from the name for the daughters of Zeus, the "muses"; on this basis, he suggests that the aim of the museum is to furnish a visitor with inspiration. There is no any daily tour to Toy Museum that you should take a private Istanbul tour to include in your turkey trip.
